Many years ago I was confronted by the severe operating conditions of the steel industry and the use of greases and oils that were barely meeting the minimum required lubrication specifications resulting in costly repairs and unscheduled downtime. Thirty years ago Steelco Industrial Lubricants was formed to meet the rigorous demands of the steel industry which saturated the Great Lakes area. Extreme temperatures, very heavy shock loads, thousands of gallons of water, slow to high speeds and tremendous amounts of contamination are constants in the unique lubrication requirements of the steel industry. Over the years, thanks to the input from our organization of Distributors and Representatives, the Steelco product line has been modified to meet the lubrication needs of all other types of industry such as marine, lumber, drilling, transportation,construction, recreation, etc. We believe that quality in a finished lubricant can only be produced by using quality ingredients and only the finest components are used in producing Steelco products. Our philosophy will continue to be the same as it was in the beginning: "To provide our customers with the finest products possible to manufacture, regardless of initial cost, to reduce and keep our valued customers’ maintenance and unscheduled downtime to a minimum". |
